This passage from Song of Myself has always stuck with me. The first time I read it I was a few years shy of thirty-seven, but I’ve always appreciated the spirit of the words. Now being a few years beyond thirty-seven and embarking on a new journey, it resonates in a different way. I didn’t start taking photography more seriously until several years ago, and the establishment of this site in the next step in that evolution.

I can’t say with any kind of certainty what this site will end up being. Obviously, it will be a place for me to share my photography. It will also likely serve as a place to share stories about going out to shoot, sources of inspiration, experimenting with new techniques, and hopefully a success or two, whatever that might look like. I have a feeling it will morph over time as I grow into whatever my photography adventure decides to be.

I look forward to hopefully getting out to create more to share soon.
